Ann is an accomplished multimedia journalist who tells impactful, compelling stories through video, print, and online interactive features.

 

Since November 2016, Ann has been breaking stories as an investigative reporter at TheTrace.org, a national news outlet covering gun violence. She uses extensive sources, public records and data to unearth exclusive stories about crime, policing and the national gun background check system. 

 

Prior to coming to Ann was an investigative producer at NBC New York, where she oversaw the creation of original projects through reporting, writing scripts, managing shoots and edits, and creating interactive packages for the web. She is skilled at shooting and editing video, and has won several awards in television, including two New York Emmys.
